Salahua Beach
A beach with average sized-waves, a gently sloping sand bank and slightly grainy sand with golden tones. This is a popular place to fish for red snapper, pargo and other interesting species.
Las Hadas Beach
This a very peaceful beach, a haven of tranquility. It is sheltered in a cove where the surf laps gently against a beach that slopes slightly into the sea.
Miramar Beach
A beach with a fantastic art and crafts market that has stalls vending souvenirs at very reasonable prices. This is a popular beach because it has sun shades, thatched-roof restaurants and horseback riding.
La Mantarraya Golf Course
A championship 18 hole course is located at Las Hadas.
University Archaeological Museum offers a complete vision of different cultures that existed in the West of Mesoamerica during the pre-Hispanic time, particularly in the region that today is occupied by the state of Colima. This museum can be used by anyone, a scientist, a student, or the casual observer enjoying the beauty of the artifacts. The museum project has 3 aspects. The first being the cultural aspect, so the youth can acquire an understanding of their more remote origins. Next the academic aspect, with the idea that the person who visits the Museum is immersed into a complete experience of what it was like in Colima and prehispanic Manzanillo. Finally, offering the tourist a panoramic view of the cultural beauty and history of the remote riverside towns and villages of the area.
Isla Navidad is located in La Culebra Peninsula, 64 km northeast of Manzanillo by the highway 200. Considered one of the best places to sail or kayak.
