This tiny village just a short distance south of Guayabitos is surrounded by lush green mountains and has developed a lot in the past few years. Along with Guayabitos and La Peñita, Los Ayala is the third town on the Jaltemba Bay (Bahía De Jaltemba).
On any given Sunday, you can find the beach heavily used by Mexican families from the neighboring areas. The town has is developing with new hospitality options such as hotels and vacation rentals. There are a number of expats and snowbirds that call Los Ayala their home.
With its close proximity to Guayabitos (you can almost walk there) and smaller size, it makes a great option for a visit to a less populated and more secluded town.
As you walk towards the southern end of the Los Ayala beach, you will come to a small path over a lush cliff that will take you to a much smaller beach that almost feels private.
