Cancun beach with an unusual phenomena that occurred in 2015 where seaweed, known as Sargassum, accumulated close to the beach and floated on the water in large quantities. A lot of effort was made by local authorities to clean the water to keep it pristine so that tourists could enjoy the ocean.
